Bluetooth Operation
本章要点：FTX-1 本体不含蓝牙电路，需要通过选购件蓝牙单元扩展后才可使用无线耳机。本章依次说明蓝牙单元的安装、蓝牙耳机的首次配对、蓝牙功能的关闭、用耳机按键发射（VOX 关闭时）、免提 VOX 通联，以及接收音频在耳机与本机扬声器之间的输出方式选择，并汇总全部蓝牙相关菜单项。

25.1 蓝牙单元的安装Installing the Bluetooth Unit

The FTX-1 can be equipped with the Bluetooth function by installing the optional Bluetooth unit. Hands-free operation is possible using the optional Bluetooth headset (SSM-BT20) or a commercially available Bluetooth headset.

The operation of all commercially available Bluetooth headsets cannot be guaranteed.

通过安装选购件蓝牙单元，FTX-1 即可具备蓝牙功能。使用选购件蓝牙耳机（SSM-BT20）或市售蓝牙耳机，即可实现免提操作。

无法保证所有市售蓝牙耳机都能正常工作。

避坑指南 · 蓝牙单元型号的差异PITFALL · Bluetooth unit model name 两本手册对蓝牙单元的写法不一致：AM（高级手册）正文的安装标题写作"Installing the Bluetooth unit "BU-5""（BU-5），而 OM（操作手册）选购件章节的标题写作"Bluetooth Unit BU-6"（BU-6），并明确说明"BU-6 由 BU-5 与 FTX-1 专用盖板组成"（The BU-6 consists of a BU-5 and cover exclusively for the FTX-1）。本译文如实保留两种原文表述，未作统一。实际购买与安装时，请以随机说明书、包装标签或 YAESU 官网的选购件清单为准。 The two manuals use different names: the Advanced Manual says "BU-5", while the Operating Manual's options section says "BU-6" and explains that the BU-6 consists of a BU-5 plus a dedicated cover. Both wordings are preserved here as printed. Always confirm against the accessory list for your region before purchasing.

安装步骤Installation procedure

  1. Turn the transceiver OFF.
  2. Remove the Bluetooth unit cover from the transceiver.
  3. Apply double-sided tape to the Bluetooth unit. Double-sided tape is included with the BU-6.
  4. Align the Bluetooth unit connector with the connector on the board and install.
  5. Carefully attach the supplied cover.
  1. 关闭收发信机电源。
  2. 从收发信机上取下蓝牙单元盖板。
  3. 在蓝牙单元上贴双面胶。双面胶随 BU-6 附带。

注意 / NOTE 安装必须在完全断电状态下进行；双面胶一旦贴上就难以无损取下，贴附前请先确认连接器方向。装回盖板时不要压到蓝牙单元的排线。 Install the unit only with the transceiver powered off. Once the double-sided tape is applied it is difficult to remove the unit without damage, so confirm the connector orientation first.

25.2 蓝牙耳机配对Pairing the Bluetooth Headset

When using the Bluetooth headset for the first time, the Bluetooth headset and the FTX-1 must be paired. This step is only necessary when first connecting the headset.

  1. To start the Bluetooth headset in pairing mode. SSM-BT20: Press and hold the Multi-function Button for 3 seconds, until the SSM-BT20 LED blinks red/blue alternately.
  2. Press and hold the [FUNC] knob.
  3. Select [OPERATION SETTING] → [OPTION].
  4. Touch [DONE] on the [Bluetooth] item.
  5. Touch [Bluetooth] set to "ON".
  6. Touch [DONE] on the [DEVECE LIST] item.
  7. The DEVECE LIST screen will be displayed.
  8. Touch [SEARCH].

首次使用蓝牙耳机时，必须先将蓝牙耳机与 FTX-1 配对。该步骤仅在第一次连接耳机时需要。

  1. 让蓝牙耳机进入配对模式。SSM-BT20：按住多功能键（Multi-function Button）3 秒，直到 SSM-BT20 的指示灯红/蓝交替闪烁。

  1. The search starts, and the model name of the found Bluetooth device is displayed in the list.
  2. When the headset to be connected is displayed, touch the Bluetooth headset to be connected. While connected to a Bluetooth headset, the Bluetooth icon lights up on the FTX-1 screen, and the received audio and operation beep will be heard from the Bluetooth headset. The LED of SSM-BT20 blinks blue. The pairing is completed.

避坑指南 · 搜不到耳机PITFALL · Headset not found 配对失败最常见的原因是耳机没有真正处于"配对模式"：SSM-BT20 开机（按住多功能键开机）与进入配对（开机后继续按住 3 秒直至红蓝交替闪）是两个动作，只开机不会出现在搜索列表里。若列表为空，先把耳机彻底关机重来一遍，再点 [SEARCH]。另外手册已明确"无法保证所有市售蓝牙耳机都能正常工作"，遇到连不上或音频断续时，优先怀疑耳机兼容性而不是机器故障。（社区经验） The most common cause of failure is that the headset is powered on but not in pairing mode. On the SSM-BT20, powering on and entering pairing mode are two different actions. If the list stays empty, power the headset off completely and repeat, then touch [SEARCH]. Yaesu states that operation of all commercially available Bluetooth headsets cannot be guaranteed. (community-reported)

25.3 关闭蓝牙功能Disabling the Bluetooth Function

To cancel the Bluetooth operation, just repeat the above procedures, selecting "OFF" in step 5 above.

25.4 用蓝牙耳机上的按键发射（VOX 功能关闭时）Transmit Operation by Pressing the Button on the Bluetooth Headset (VOX: OFF)

When the VOX function is OFF, pressing the "Call button"* on the Bluetooth headset once will engage the FTX-1 in transmit, and then a call can be made using the Bluetooth headset. Press the "Call button"* again to return the FTX-1 to receive.

*The button name may differ depending on your Bluetooth headset.

SSM-BT20: When the Multi-function Key is pressed, a beep will sound and the FTX-1 will continuously transmit. Press the Multi-function Key again, a beep will sound and the FTX-1 will return to receive mode.

VOX 功能关闭时，按一次蓝牙耳机上的"呼叫键"（Call button）*，FTX-1 即进入发射状态，此后可用蓝牙耳机讲话。再次按"呼叫键"*，FTX-1 回到接收状态。

*按键名称因蓝牙耳机而异。

SSM-BT20：按下多功能键时，会发出提示音，FTX-1 持续发射；再次按下多功能键，发出提示音，FTX-1 返回接收模式。

技术提示 / TIP 这种方式相当于把耳机上的多功能键当作 PTT 开关使用，但它是"按一次发射、再按一次接收"的保持式（latch）操作，不是按下讲话、松开停发的瞬时式。通联结束时务必确认已按第二次回到接收，否则会长时间占用频率；配合 TOT（发射限时）使用更稳妥。 This is a latched PTT: one press transmits continuously, a second press returns to receive. It is not press-to-talk / release-to-listen. Always confirm you are back in receive, and consider enabling TOT as a safety net.

25.5 蓝牙耳机免提 VOX 操作Hands-free VOX Operation with a Bluetooth Headset

When the FTX-1 VOX (automatic voice transmission) function is turned ON, the Bluetooth headset can perform hands-free operation and transmit automatically just by talking.

Turn the VOX function ON according to "VOX Operation" (see page 25).

当 FTX-1 的 VOX（自动语音发射）功能打开时，蓝牙耳机可实现免提操作，只要讲话就会自动发射。

VOX 功能的开启方法参见"VOX Operation"（见第 25 页）。

HAM 实战 · VOX 与蓝牙耳机配合FIELD NOTE 免提 VOX 适合野外架台、边操作边记录日志的场合，但它对背景噪声极其敏感：风声、旁边人说话、车载风扇都可能触发发射。建议把 VOX 增益调到"刚好能触发、正常呼吸不触发"，并把 VOX 延时（hang time）设得稍长一点，避免词与词之间反复掉线。蓝牙链路本身还有额外编解码延时，实际发射起控会比有线话筒略迟，第一个音节容易被吃掉，呼叫前先轻声发一个"呃"再报呼号会更可靠。（社区经验） Hands-free VOX is excellent for portable operation, but it is sensitive to wind, bystanders and fan noise. Set the VOX gain just above the trigger point and use a generous hang time. Bluetooth adds codec latency, so lead your call with a short sound before the callsign. (community-reported)

25.6 蓝牙接收音频输出Bluetooth Received Audio Output

When a Bluetooth headset is connected, the received audio can automatically be output from the headset only, or from both the headset and the transceiver speaker.

  1. Press and hold the [FUNC] knob.
  2. Select [OPERATION SETTING] → [OPTION].
  3. Touch [DONE] on the [Bluetooth] item.
  4. Select [AUDIO].
  5. Rotate the [FUNC] knob, or touch "<" or ">" on either side of the value to select "FIX" or "AUTO".

连接蓝牙耳机后，接收音频可设置为仅从耳机输出，或从耳机与本机扬声器同时输出。

  1. 按住 [FUNC] 旋钮。
  2. 选择 [OPERATION SETTING] → [OPTION]。
  3. 在 [Bluetooth] 条目上触摸 [DONE]。
  4. 选择 [AUDIO]。

AUTO: The received audio comes from only the Bluetooth headset.
FIX: The received audio comes from both the Bluetooth headset and the speaker of this transceiver.

Factory default value: AUTO

  1. Press the [FUNC] knob, or wait for about 3 seconds to save the setting.
  2. Press the [BACK] key several times to return to normal operation.

AUTO：接收音频仅从蓝牙耳机输出。
FIX：接收音频同时从蓝牙耳机和本机扬声器输出。

出厂默认值：AUTO

  1. 按 [FUNC] 旋钮，或等待约 3 秒保存设置。
  2. 按几次 [BACK] 键返回正常操作。
技术提示 / TIP 默认 AUTO 时耳机一连上，本机扬声器就静音了；如果你习惯"平时用扬声器、有人呼叫时再戴耳机"，或者需要在耳机里听的同时让旁边的人也听到，就把该项改为 FIX。注意 FIX 下两者同时出声，耳机的通话音量与本机的 AF 音量会互相叠加，需要分别调低一些。 With the default AUTO, the transceiver speaker is muted while a headset is connected. Choose FIX if you want both the headset and the speaker to carry audio at the same time.

While connected to a Bluetooth headset, the Bluetooth icon lights up on the FTX-1 screen. If the icon is not lit, the headset is not connected and the procedures above must be repeated.

与蓝牙耳机连接期间，FTX-1 屏幕上会点亮蓝牙图标。若图标未点亮，说明耳机未连接，需要重新执行上述步骤。
