本章为全书开篇：先说明《icom IC-7300 中英对照全书》的编排结构与阅读方式，再概述 IC-7300 的产品特点，解释手册五级警示用语（DANGER、WARNING、CAUTION、NOTE、IMPORTANT）的含义，并完整收录原厂安全须知（PRECAUTIONS）、随机附件清单、认证与法规信息、触摸屏操作说明及手册记述惯例。安全内容一律保留原厂警告级别，请在操作收发信机前仔细阅读。
This opening chapter explains the structure and reading conventions of this bilingual IC-7300 book, summarizes the transceiver's key features, defines the five explicit signal words used in the manual (DANGER, WARNING, CAUTION, NOTE and IMPORTANT), and reproduces in full the manufacturer's safety precautions, supplied accessories, certification and regulatory information, touch screen instructions and manual conventions. All safety content retains its original warning level — please read it carefully before operating the transceiver.

This bilingual book is compiled from five official documents: (1) the IC-7300 Full Manual (FM, Chapters 1–19) forms the main body of this book; (2) the IC-7300 Basic Manual (BM), an abridged edition of the FM, whose contents have already been merged into the corresponding chapters of this book rather than being set as a chapter of its own.

0-7关于触摸屏About the Touch Screen
在完整手册或基础手册中，触摸操作按下述方式描述。
In the Full manual or Basic manual, the touch operation is described as shown below.

触摸屏注意事项Touch screen precautions
- 粘贴 LCD 保护膜或保护片后，触摸屏可能无法正常工作。
- 用指甲、尖锐物体等触摸屏幕，或用力按压屏幕，可能损坏屏幕。
- 本触摸屏不支持平板电脑式的手势操作，如轻扫（flick）、双指捏合（pinch in）与双指张开（pinch out）。
- The touch screen may not properly work when the LCD protection film or sheet is attached.
- Touching the screen with your finger nails, sharp topped object and so on, or touching the screen hard may damage it.
- Tablet PC's operations such as flick, pinch in and pinch out cannot be performed on this touch screen.
触摸屏保养Touch screen maintenance
触摸屏有灰尘或污垢时，请用柔软的干布擦拭干净。
If the touch screen becomes dusty or dirty, wipe it clean with a soft, dry cloth.
擦拭触摸屏时，注意不要用力过大，也不要用指甲刮擦，否则可能损坏屏幕。
When you wipe the touch screen, be careful not to push it too hard or scratch it with your finger nails. Otherwise you may damage the screen.
